Hi, my name is Daniel Montgomery. I have been inspired by music on a deeply personal level since the earliest memories of my childhood. My first lessons in music began at age 5 when my grandmother would come and patiently teach me and my four older siblings to play the piano. But it wasn’t until my first year of high school that I began to pursue music seriously as an option for a career.

It was during this time that I was given salvation from the Lord, and it was the Holy Spirit that guided me in my pursuit of music to this point. I am now college graduate from the University of Georgia seeking opportunities of any type in the field of music. I am currently offering services in film scoring, arranging, composing, song writing, transpositions, written transcriptions of your music, lessons in music theory, drum set and marimba.

The music on my new music site is just a small sample of the wide range of sounds that I am able to write, though my specialty is in the solemn and dramatic spectrum of film scoring. All of the musical examples on that page are excerpts from the short film "The Longest Day" of which I composed all of the music. If you are in need of a composer, I will work with you step by step on your  project and ensure that you are fully satisfied with every musical moment!

My mission statement:
My goal is not to write music so well that people will say upon hearing it- “Wow!, I want to hear that again!” The emotion should not be constrained to the moment. It should be so powerful that everyone who hears it will take something that stays with them forever; not leaving a desire for more, but rather a sense of peace and empowerment.
