How Bright the Heavens
How bright the heavens, a gathering place
To applaud the sweet grace of our great God and King.
How bright the heavens with high notes of light
Celebrating the might of our great God and King.
The heavens declare the great glory of God
Rejoicing is heard everywhere; her voices His praises declare
Her tribute’s triumphant; her worship’s all-ablaze
Reflecting God’s infinite ways; adoring with honor and praise.
How bright the heavens with songs of delight
Ringing out in the night to our great God and King.
How bright the heavens, a symphony, bliss
A melodious kiss for our great God and King.
The heavens declare the great glory of God
Amazingly praising His name, proclaiming He’s ever the same
Forever exalted the King of kings will be
Creation will all bow the knee; His glory, the whole world will see.
How bright the heavens, a music delight,
Angels singing in flight, praise our great God and King
“How bright the heavens, how bright the heavens”
The sun and the moon
Sing a glorious tune to our great God and King
The heavens declare the great glory of God
Her music is heard loud and clear, exalting God’s kindness so dear.
Enraptured, forever, God’s praises I will sing
Eternal devotion I bring, so humbled I bow to my King.
“How bright the heavens
How bright the heavens,
How bright the heavens.”
With whispers of love
For God up above
Praise our great God and King
Praise our great God and King.
Vivian May Edwards
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
Psalm 19: 1-4
